one night, two poems

"in the course of our friendship we have had written several twin poems...poems that answer the other...this is one of our favorites, inspired by one rainy night..."
                                                               -blue n sunset-
lightning, rainbow and a dream

she closed her eyes...
gaiety danced in the summit of her trance...
like a billow the blaze blew...
that curtain of indecision which dangled in her brain...
what was it she was missin'?...
it was that smile, that particular sparkle in the person's eye...
eyes that constantly evade her for fear of losin' shame...
because the thunder in their hearts was louder than that outside...
and it was too much to dismiss...
yet she stays close but safe enough just to touch the spirit not the hand
because that is just what they can own
the spirit and mind but not the hand..
a lifetime is but a dream and lightning might silence THE SCREAM..
with a very very strong wind...
yet rain comes with a bow
and turns everything into a MAGICAL SCHEME

                          -sunset-
Lightning-shut the scream

Gaiety..
of emotions and words ...
some futile...
some meaningful...
broke the silence of one mediocre night...
the almost still air suddenly turned into a gentle wind...
blew so suddenly ..billowing the bored curtains then,
danced as words continue to fill the night...
cued heaven’s consent of the merrymaking...
as if allowing keen affection soar to the pinnacle.
Heaven might have noticed the bliss...
the taking over of the emotions ...
sent forth a blitzkrieg...
the dark almost blinding night...
was cut by the blaze of the furious lightning...
turning the drizzle to a wild downpour...
to silence the scream of the pounding hearts ...
to put the trance back to ...
reality.

You two are wonderful companion and artist for each other, remind me of my special friendship with a friend. We used to share a diary together. She wrote in it one day, return to me, and I wrote in it the next. Our souls connected through this very sacred diary, which I still have!
